Well, how time flies. I've already been working for 3 months now. With more income flowing in then compared to before (used to be pocket money from parents) and my contract extended till 21th of Dec, i can really start planning what to do with that short span of time before school starts. Well, you pretty much would have guess, Vietnam trip is off =(
Well, i had to call it off cos there is really not enough time to cover the whole of Vietnam even if i begin my trip on the 10th of Dec. So my target is shifted to Angkor Wat instead, planning to leave on the 26th and travel till probably new year eve (cos the whole bunch wants me to be around during Christmas). Short 5-6 days but should be enough to cover the whole of Angkor Wat.
But what about before Christmas, those few days from the 22th to 25th in Singapore? What ami going to do here? There's really nothing to do. To me its a horrific experience to go downtown on Christmas eve and nothing much will be going on anywhere else on this small island.
Brian suggested a road trip to Malaysia, which i'm skeptical about but nevertheless agreeable if all are in for it. "Lets see how things go", that the best response i could give him. The best "we" can do, is to try and plan something out this weekend, and hope that the plan flourishes when the time comes. I need to travel, that the only thing on my mind now. Cos that stretch of the year, from 21th till 26th, really have a big impact on me. Painful memories linger around those few days, which i seriously dun want to be reminded of, when it comes.
Well, it also time to travel anyway, time to fill in new adventures into my log of journey around the world. Christmas, christmas........ time for me to go.......
Wandering Around the World
A backpack strapped to my shoulders, a camera on my hand, i travel the world in search for a place i call my home... All the sights and sound, captured in my heart and turned into memories that will lodged deep on my mind and in my heart... Searching a place where i belong...
